	Thread count is the measure of how many threads, warp and weft, are woven into one square inch of fabric.

3.	Does a higher thread count mean a more luxurious sheet?
	Thread count is one consideration in the quality of linens; however, more important is the quality of the cotton, the hand or feel of the fabric, and quality of the finishing.

What factors should be considered in determining the quality of linens?

Although higher thread counts are thought to mean a higher quality fabric, many factors attribute to the quality of fine linens. The first consideration is the quality of the yarn used. Egyptian cotton is considered the finest cotton in the world. It has the longest staple and strongest fibers. Used in high-end linens and towels, Egyptian cotton means luxury. Don’t be fooled by products that are Egyptian cotton blends, 100% Egyptian cotton gives for the best quality.
The next factor is the construction of the fabric. The yarn size and weaves used, in addition to the thread count are all carefully planned in the construction to produce the desired quality of fabric.
The finishing of the fabric is the final consideration. After the fabrics are woven the finishing process can give the fabric added luster and a smoother hand.

5.	What kind of support does DWI offer their customers?
	DWI can warehouse back-up stock in agreed upon amounts in North Carolina, California, Las Vegas, Israel and Hong Kong.

6.	Does DWI test product for commercial use?
	DWI does extensive testing on products for the hospitality business. We have worked with the Mission laundry in Las Vegas in developing products that have excellent results from wash testing. We have used outside professionals, for example chemists, to aid in the development of product. We will guarantee that our products will perform.

7.	Can DWI offer retail product for a hotel’s retail program?
	DWI can supply product for retail with packaging and labeling. DWI has a retail background with product currently in high-end department stores including Harrods of London and Bloomingdales.

8.	Does DWI do custom work?
	Depending on quantities needed and time frames, DWI can offer custom sizing, design, color, and sewing. We are happy to work with the customer in determining their needs and how we can accomplish those needs.

9.	Does DWI have the financial stability to handle large customers?
	DWI does have the financial resources to handle large customers. In addition, DWI has joint ventures with major manufactures in Israel, India and Hong Kong.

10.	Who are some of DWI’s major customers?
	DWI supplied bed linens, cotton bath rugs, and closet blankets to the recently opened Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. We provided custom designed product to the 2800 rooms at the Wynn.
